This has been a holiday weekend of both triumph and tragedy, will get to the good times first.

The greatest sporting event taking place this weekend, was of course the Annual Williamsburg Volleyball Tournament, which as usual yours truly the BigCat dominated with his pro level athleticism,and all around studliness. Our team the Hillbilly Heartthrobs went undefeated to take the coveted crown for the 5th straight year. I am just that damn good. There was a multitude of hotties in attendance and we finished the day with a cookout and a great illegal fireworks display, fun had by all.

In a really tragic story, NFL great Steve Mcnair and a 20 year old female  were found dead in a Nashville condo, Mcnair died from multiple gunshot wounds, and the female died from a single shot to the head, in what appears to be a murder suicide. I once got an autograph from Steve at a Titans fan appreciation day, and he was a really cool guy around the fans, The thing I always admired about Mcnair was his toughness, he was a warrior on the field.

The awful thing about this situation is Steve left four sons and a wife behind, and the circumstances with the young woman found with him has got to leave a lot of questions in his families minds, Mcnair was always thought of as a family man, and it appears now that he was involved romantically with his alleged killer, she was arrested on a DUI charge 3 days earlier with Mcnair in the passenger seat, and the car they where driving was registered to the girl and to Mcnair. It is a real tragedy that a respected athlete like Mcnair will leave this world with his legacy tarnished in this manner.

It appears that Matt the Beast Pilgrim will take his game to the OK State Cowboys to play for former UK player Travis Ford, I really hope Matt has a lot of success, he is a really cool guy and he has kind of been handed the shit end of the stick, so good luck Matt.

Mychal Parker who visited the  UK campus last weekend has plummeted down the rankings, when the new rankings came out this week Mychal dropped all the way to #75. I don’t know the Interest level UK has in this kid, but I thinks his potential far out weighs his ranking.

The Lebron James Camp starts today in Akron Ohio, and there are several UK targets in attendance.
