The first edition of our newest feature, the Weekly Kitty debuted last Friday and although it hasn’t been a week, the Kitty will now come out every Tuesday, our Monday, or whenever the hell I decided to post it. 

Before I get to the topic on everyone’s mind X Henry, lets hit on the topic of a self proclaimed Professional Recruiting Scout, calling a college kid names.

When you think professionalism, the first name that comes to mind is Marc (Frosty) Maggard, so it came as quite the shock when posts from his site leaked on the message boards this week,  of Maggot calling UK freshman Demarcus Cousins a bitch and a punk, saying that’s the pot calling the kettle black is the understatement of the century, I have seen Cousins in person and I would pay a year’s salary to see Maggard say this to him face to face. Now I think it is a known fact that Marc suffers from small penis syndrome, and obviously has inadequacy issue’s, that cause him to blow up at the slightest challenge to his endless knowledge, but this is going to far, if you want to say Demarcus has attitude issue’s thats fine ,if you want to say he is a cry baby that’s fine, if you want to poke fun at a player on the team I have no problem with that, but to cuss a member of the team, just proves what most of us already knew, That you Mr Maggard are the Punk Ass Bitch.

Also the never ending nerd fight between Maggard and Matt Jones is priceless, they should set up a pay per view, and settle this cat fight once and for all. what I wouldn’t give to see this slapfest .

 I usually enjoy Matt’s blog, although I do tire of the posts on Seinfeld, the Super friends, and the host from Fantasy Island etc, he does a nice job with his site. but I have to say I thought the statement he made yesterday about ” as Darius Miller goes, so goes the Cats season” or something to that affect, is asinine at best, it is true that Cal is high on Darius, and I believe Darius can and will be an integral part of this years squad, but lets be real, the success of the current team rests solely on the shoulders of John Wall, Pat Patterson, and Demarcus Cousins, It is like saying ” as Trever Ariza goes, so goes the Lakers. Several players will play key roles  this season including Orton, Bledsoe, Dodson, and Miller, but the Big 3 will determine how far this team ultimately goes.

And the saga that is the Xavier Henry recruitment continues, this tale has more twists and turns than any soap opera, and it really looks like the X show could come to LexTown this year after all, You have all heard the story by now, Xavier may have changed his mind on Kansas, and his dad says Kentucky  is an option, well from what I’m told it is not a option, it is THE option. If he doesn’t attend Kansas, UK is the destination, it appears that X really is considering being part of the greatest recruiting class in history after all . The thing I wonder about is where CJ will fit into this, his dad is convinced that CJ should get major playing time, and I hear he is a good player, but how will he get PG minutes with Wall and Bledsoe on the team. UK could definitely use a shooter of X Henry’s caliber, and his arrival would immediately catapult the Cat’s to preseason #1, maybe we will soon see the final episode of this intriguing drama.
