TCP gets ugly with censorship!

Tastes in erotica vary widely, and what is acceptable to one person may be as the bottom of a bird cage to another; or, to put it another way, one lady’s deep throat may be another’s large yawn.
It’s all in ones interpretation. TCP mods have decided that since families go to the beach and watch beach volleyball together, that they cannot view the participants at John Blues little mini Saudi Arabia in still form.
It has come to our attention that TCP (The Cats Pause) online has banned signatures that depict women in bikinis. So lets look at that objectively a bit. Now they cant as much as look at a girl who is on the beach, they cant watch the women play volleyball. They cant watch the cheerleaders held high in the air as god forbid in the name of religion one might get to view her underwear.
Lets look at it another way, TCP is a fan site for University of Kentucky athletics that supposedly supports UK teams, men and women. Now it’s OK to support the Mens basketball as action photos and clips of mens basketball apparently are OK, just not the womens swim team or any beach volleyball played by the students. While they are at it, I suppose they will have to ban signatures of mens basketball players from the 50s and 60s and 70s, as those uniforms barely covered those players nuts.
Look, nobody is saying they wanted porn at TCP as porn has its own place. We dont even allow porn at Dynasty Defenders. But we do know that while
TCP says in the name of it being a “family site” they want to censor women in swimsuits that can appear at family friendly places like beaches and sporting events. Heaven forbid, a cheerleader jump up in the air or anyone at a “family” basketball game might see her underwear. I dont think its the kids they profess to protect as
kids dont have any negative preconceived notions about silly things like bikinis. That is drilled into them by so called “adults” The message sent is women are bad if they are at the beach. Its OK to see them if you are actually there as a family. Its just not OK to see them if you see the same scene on the internet at TCP’s site.Where does censorship stop?
We already have an administration that wants to stimy talk radio hosts. Its only a matter of time before the John
Blues of the world win and we lose the right altogether to gather on the net and discuss our Wildcats. Freedoms go away one step at a time. The current presidential administration wants to attack talk radio and silence it as well in the name of the “Fairness Doctrine”Not everyone will agree with this blog entry, but everyone needs to know that one by one their rights WILL be taken away. The sad thing is, many dont seem to care.
One mans opinion, given while it’s still legal to give it.
Mark Santangelo

Beaches are family friendly places, so dont let TCP unload that crock o'shit reason they use censorship to hide family friendly pics of girls at family friendly beaches as a reason for censorship. Its just another excuse to take something away and to control the message as they did in regards to Tubby Smith. Its another muscle flex.
Censorship is a slippery slope that many are willing to slide on down. I guess their views about what is proper or improper are the views that all should hold.
Who gets to decide what is improper? What gives that person such wisdom and insight to be right? What if I disagree with that person's judgment that a certain image is proper, and I believe that the image is improper? Do I then get to become the "Image Czar"
Where is Obama when you really need him?

Great post Mark. You know I totally agree with you and love all my freedoms that were won for me in many battles by many brave Americans.
