Great Weekend For The Cats !!!

There is not alot that I can say thats not been said on all the other sites but this has been a great couple of days to be a UK fan.

Finally after what seems like an eternity it is fun to watch Kentucky Basketball again, everyone mentions what a long off season of anticipation we have been through, but just think of how long it has been since you truly had fun watching a UK game, how long since you felt hope that we would matter on a national level, its been years for me.

How awesome is it to have elite talent again, this year no matter the outcome will be enjoyable just to watch the growth of these kids, There will be ups and downs for sure but we can only go up.

Here is a compilation of every score from the Morehead Game, I would love some Morehead Thanks.

On the Football side of things the Legend of Cobb continues to grow, and he and Derrick (the Key) Locke saved the coaching staff from themselves and led the Cats to Bowl eligibility.

This is not the time to complain after a win, but I am so frustrated with the Jokes play calling I could scream, and I love Brooks but decide on a QB and stick with them Damn it, Newton is a freshman and you shouldn’t F#C/ with his confidence, Hartline had his chance it is time to look to the future.

I know some will defend the Joke but its not just today it is his inconsistancy an refusal to use the run game to set up play action, and someone tell me why Cobb is not allowed to throw out of the WildCat, it would open up everything.

Monday is the debut of John Wall and I am stoked to see it.

Go Cats

  1. Hartline got his chance to show he has healed and can play again. He did not achieve his personal goal, and Coach Brooks had him on a short leash yesterday, as he should have.

The team now belongs to Newton, and Hartline's playing days are probably over.

I hope Newton continues to gain maturity and with that maturity, develop his leadership qualities. But, the fact remains that since Hartline's injury, the Cats have had no passing game, and without a legitimate passing threat, they cannot beat Georgia next week.

Joker must loosen up the game plan next week against Georgia to have any chance of leaving Athens 7-4 instead of 6-5.
